Bee’s Favourite Resources

As she’s just started as National Worker for CVE Scotland, we thought it would be great for Bee to share some of her favourite resources with you.

Bee explains: “These aren’t just randomly picked out.  Rather they’re resources that I myself have found very useful in practice, as a schools and youth worker in both Scotland and England. 

When a school gives me a specific topic to write an assembly on, the first resource I turn to is Assemblies.org.uk. No matter what the topic or age range is, there are always some great ideas on this website that can be used either instantly or to compliment part of an assembly. Don’t just take my word for it but go ahead and click here to read more about this key resource from Assemblies.org.uk. It’s a storehouse of ideas not just for schools workers, but for chaplains and teachers too.” Any English assembly resource needs to be adapted to a Scottish context, of course, but with Assemblies.org.uk the changes are minimal. 

“On a recent visit to Aberdeen for a CVE Scotland training breakfast, teachers were asking how do we help Christian young people to think through their faith? It’s often helpful to turn to a site where you can find a spectrum of resources.
