Christian Aid Assembly: “All I Want for Christmas”

This resource is written for primary school staff who organise and deliver school or stage assemblies. The purpose of the assembly resource is to show how Christian Aid has worked with organisations to secure access to education for children who otherwise would miss out.

The resource outlines the script of the assembly and has an accompanying PowerPoint presentation which is easy to download. The resource highlights three children who have been helped by the charity Christian Aid to achieve what they hoped for – an education and way out of poverty. Pupils are then guided to a time of reflection about the real meaning of Christmas.
