What Price Peace?

This resource outlines wide-ranging and highly creative suggestions for schools to extend their spiritual, moral, social and cultural provision for pupils as they mark the anniversaries of the First World War from 2014 to 2018. The ideas, all of which are highly practical and creative, range across a number of subject areas, including Social education, English, Geography, Science, ICT, Art, Music, PE/Dance. References are to the English Key Stages, but can easily be adapted to Curriculum for Excellence. The resource does not include detailed lesson plans or guidance on assessment.
