Dig Deeper…into Young People’s Mental Health – 3rd March 2022

Following the success of the Inclusion strand of the Centre for Chaplaincy in Education’s 2021 School and College Chaplains Conference, they have created additional training sessions in the form of the new ‘Dig Deeper Series’. Designed to allow further training into key areas covered at conference and follow up with outstanding and further questions and explore new developments within the area.
The Centre for Chaplaincy Education have worked together with Dr Steve Younger – CVE Scotland’s School Chaplaincy Project Leader, lecturer at the Scottish Baptist College and Scottish Baptist Pastor, to create a new seminar to…‘Dig Deeper’ into Young People’s Mental Health.
Being offered online the session will:
Explore how encouraging resilience can bring positive results to those who are struggling with mental health issues, strategies for supporting others as well as yourself and opportunities to create an action plan.
The session will be broken down into 30/40-minute sessions that will be jam-packed with practical tips and advice on how you can explore these issues with young people in your schools and colleges. We shall include a short break.
Those who sign up will have access to the video recording of the event. The link to this will be emailed within 14 days of the event. The event costs £11.36.
