The Western Isles-based Working Group of Primary Head Teachers and Executive Head Teachers have developed, adapted and delivered alternative curriculum resources for Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP) for Early Years, First and Second Levels that are sensitive to the religious values of their local communities. These resources are free to download and align with the CfE Experiences & Outcomes and Benchmarks, ensuring the learning is coherent, progressive and contextually relevant. These are in addition to the CVE Scotland Third, Fourth and Senior Level resources launched last year and available on our website at CVE Scotland’s RSHP resources – CVE Scotland.

During the Explainer Events, attendees will hear more about why alternative resources to address concerns of Christian parents were required, the content of the lesson planners and how to access the curated resources.
