Bible Gateway
Bible Gateway is probably the most widely used website providing look-up and search tool for the Bible. Bible verses, themes and chapters can be quickly researched via keyword, topic or verse. The site user can choose to read the results in virtually any English translation of the Bible (from New International Version to the 1899 Douay-Rheims Translation) not to mention a wide selection of other languages.
While there are no lesson outlines available on this site, it is a most helpful tool for locating Bible passages and quickly accessing commentaries on them. The site is particularly useful for preparation both for RME (where older pupils will also find it useful) and for Assemblies/R.O./Time for Reflection.
As well as offering easy-to-use search facilities, the website includes online commentaries, study tools and devotional guides.
