Christian Aid: Safe Place Ludo Game (Refugees)

Safe Place Ludo explores the difficult journeys made by people fleeing conflict. It is designed to be used as a tool to help children and young people engage with the stories of refugees and the difficult journeys that they make, and explore some of the serious and important issues raised by the refugee crisis.
Downloadable PDFs provide the game “board”, detailed Teacher’s Instructions/Lesson Plan and notes to support classroom discussion of the issues around refugee: the experience of being a refugee, possible responses to refugees etc. The website also includes two short films (2-3 minutes each), one about a refugee in World War 2, one about contemporary Lebanese refugee children now living in the UK.
