Fischy Music

All Fischy Music resources work within the framework of CfE . Specific resources support Health and Wellbeing, Religious Observance and RME.

Resources include:

    • Songs for Life, a subscription site with nearly 100 Fischy songs, videos, lesson plans and other accompanying material, split into 2 halves which cover Health and Wellbeing and RME & Religious Observance respectively.
    • CDRom / DVD resource packs

Fischy Music is a Scottish Charity working in primary schools and also churches across the UK. The resources are useful for Primary Teachers, schools workers and school Chaplains. They are designed to be accessible to those who have minimal background or confidence with music, as well as being used by more experienced musicians.

Health and wellbeing topics covered by the resources include: Emotions, anti-bullying, building community, dealing with uncomfortable feelings, teamwork, transition, grief and loss, celebration, stillness, gathering.

Religious observance topics include: faith, worship, trust, loving God, big questions, praise, thankfulness, emotions expressed in the Psalms.  Fischy Music also have schools workers offering one-day school visits and teacher training / CPD sessions.
