History Detectives: David Livingstone
This resource pack was published by the National Library of Scotland. While some reference is made to Curriculum for Excellence, it is mainly linked to Levels C & D of the 5-14 Curriculum. Nevertheless, it still provides a very useful set of suggested classroom activities, worksheets and resources which help pupils develop skills in analyzing and reflecting on source documents, collecting and using evidence to draw conclusions etc.
The well laid out teachers’ notes offer a set of lesson plans, worksheets and particularly useful reproductions of archive materials (photos, maps, contemporary engravings, journal extracts etc)
