Jigsaw
Jigsaw is an Irish charity which supports young people’s mental health.
Services include online advice and expert information resources to support young people aged 12–25 years-old; its information and advice will still be very helpful for young people, school staff, parents and youth workers in Scotland.
Jigsaw give families, educators, and those who support young people’s mental health ways to cope and the skills to be there for young people. It partners with schools, sports clubs and businesses to inform and educate people about youth mental health. It offers free online support to young people, parents and teachers through jigsaw.ie.
In 2019 the ‘One Good School’ initiative began, aiming to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people by developing a shared responsibility for mental health across the whole school community.
On the Jigsaw website there is an explanation of the importance of young people having ‘One Good Adult’: jigsaw.ie/what-does-one-good-adult-mean.
