The Bible Journey

The Bible Journey is a website providing a wealth of readily accessible background information on the New Testament. It is particularly useful as a source of copyright free maps and photos of all the key locations in each of the books of the New Testament. Cleverly structured round the journeys taken by each main person in the N.T. (Jesus, Paul, Peter, John etc.), it offers a great deal of useful and highly interesting information which helps bring the relevant sections of the Bible to life.

While there are no lesson outlines available on this site, it makes a useful quarry for information and downloadable maps and numerous original photos, taken by the website’s authors. These can be used as resources both in RME lessons and for Assemblies/R.O./Time for Reflection.

The authors’ wide experience in education has clearly influenced the site. A husband and wife team, they have at different times been Geography teachers, head teachers, a school inspector and an education development officer.

An Old Testament section of the website is being progressively rolled out.
