Transgender Reading List

This is a helpful reading list with short descriptors, supplied by Alastair Gooderham, as part of the Association of Christian Teacher’s Transgender seminar, held online on the 13th April 2021.

God and the Transgender Debate, Andrew Walker – Longer but very helpful introduction.
When Harry became Sally, Ryan Anderson – More detailed look at science and larger debate.
Gender ideology, Sharon James – Helpful short book on Gender ideology and our response.
The Madness of Crowds, Douglas Murray – Examines sexuality, gender, technology and race and gives a sobering warning about our direction of travel.
A Better Story, Glynn Harrison – not on transgender as such but helps us develop a biblical and moral framework for sex and relationships.
Transformed, EA – a brief biblical and pastoral introduction to understanding transgender in a changing culture.
