Volunteering in Schools PowerPoint

Positive relationships is a short module which aims to support Christian volunteers. This PowerPoint has been used in a seminar and provides a useful overview of matters to consider when volunteering in a school.

The module provides general guidance on:

• Preparing to volunteer in schools
• Relationships with school staff
• Relationships with young people
• Activity guidance
• Boundaries & support structure

The PowerPoint has been written and shared by Sandra Sutherland, a CVE Scotland trustee, who has vast experience working in schools, mainly as a teacher of additional support needs.
