‘Is there a Place for Christianity in Education?’ 22/11/21

Online Anniversary Lecture, on Monday 22nd November at 7.30pm

Statistics suggest that our children are becoming increasingly distanced from the truth of the gospel. And despite the Law’s requirements, in practice, Christianity is often glossed over, ignored or misrepresented in schools. But should children still acquire a knowledge of Christianity, the religion that has played such a central part in this country’s cultural heritage? And is there still a place for sharing the hope and truth of Jesus in our nation’s schools?

As part of their 50th Anniversary Celebrations, ACT is hosting a lecture entitled “Is there a place for Christianity in Education? An analysis of the shifting cultural sands of the past 50 years.” The lecture will take place online – via Facebook livestream and YouTube – and will be given by special guest Alun Ebenezer, Executive Headmaster of The Fulham Boys School, London.
