Being Human – Scotland taster evening
The Evangelical Alliance in Scotland invites all teachers, school workers, parents and church volunteers to an upcoming event on Thursday 15 May in Newton Mearns Baptist Church – Being Human taster evening with Peter Lynas.

A recent EA survey of members showed that Christians in Scotland are looking for help on how to engage with today’s major cultural issues. In response, EA is hosting a Being Human taster event, where Peter Lynas, UK Director at the Evangelical Alliance and co-lead of the Being Human project, will introduce a framework to help consider how we might share our faith in light of some of today’s most pressing cultural issues. Issues such as assisted dying, gender and sexuality will be explored, with space for discussion and a Q&A session.
This is a relevant conversation for those engaged in education in Scotland, and is also open to the wider church community – leaders, students, professionals, creatives – everyone is welcome.
