Mental Health in Schools November 30
Monday 30th November 2020, 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Do you work in or support schools in any way? The impact of the coronavirus on our own and young people’s mental health is being widely researched and documented. Promoting good mental health is now often a priority for school Improvement Plans. There are many resources and techniques now being asked to be used in schools.
Dr. Rob Waller (Mind and Soul Foundation) will be speaking and answering questions on mental health in schools from a Christian perspective, as well as offering opportunities to discuss the topic in small groups.
This event is for anyone who works in or with schools. There will be some content specifically for school staff and those currently allowed in schools. However, schools workers, chaplains, parents and other family members, prayer group members and others with a concern for pupils and school staff members’ welfare will gain insight from all of the event and we would love you to join in the meeting.
The programme will consist of a short time of welcome, presentation by Dr. Rob Waller, small group discussion and a Q & A session (questions can be submitted prior to the event or during).
This event will be hosted by CVE Scotland over zoom.
