NetWorks: The Scottish Borders 29th October

Thursday 29th October, 8.00 – 8.30pm

Coming to the Borders is a fantastic opportunity for school staff, youth workers, chaplains and other Christians who work in schools

Christian Values in Education Scotland’s regional networking, prayer and equipping events have gone online. NetWorks events provide opportunities to encourage one another, hear what God has to say, discuss issues in school and join in some corporate prayer for schools – this will be a short zoom event you won’t want to miss!

Take 30 minutes out of your Thursday evening to come and be blessed as you meet with other Christians in your area with an interest in schools and meet some of the CVE Scotland team!

Programme
After a welcome and short time of Bible reflection there will be small group time in zoom breakout rooms to find out a little from each other about what some of the challenges and opportunities in schools are at the moment, encourage one another, share and pray as much or little as you’d like. During booking there’s the option to specify other(s) you’d like to share breakout time with. The event will close with some ideas for future support, resources and prayer.

Anyone working in schools in any capacity (e.g. school staff, visiting professionals, volunteers, youth workers, chaplains…) are very welcome to join. This is the first event Christian Values in Education Scotland will be hosting specifically for the Borders, having previously run events with SU Scotland for those in the Borders alongside those for workers in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We hope you can join us for the Borders’ premiere NetWorks!
