On a roll!

Our Training and Networking events for School Chaplains are on a roll. The highly successful Training Day in Perth (opened by Karen Reid, Perth & Kinross Chief Executive) was followed by another successful event last week.

19 School Chaplains came from right across Lanarkshire to the GLO Centre, Motherwell. Rev Steve Younger, our Chaplaincy Support Worker, shared a presentation on CVE Scotland, ‘Time for Reflection’ and spiritual development within Curriculum for Excellence. Delegates also enjoyed small-group time, working through some of the issues and questions that school chaplaincy throws up. And of course there was a chance to get our hands on the latest resources, including Steve’s own excellent publications!
