Free Woodland Trust Tree Packs and 3 x Lesson Plans linked to CfE
🌳🌳 Free resource from the Woodland Trust to local groups and schools including faith groups 🌳🌳
Trees keep us cool in summer, clean our air and help reduce flooding. They encourage more wildlife with food and shelter, boost our physical and mental health, and help fight climate change too. The Woodland Trust free packs come in eight different species mixes of 15, 30, 105 or 420 saplings to accommodate every project and give everyone a chance to plant a tree.
📖 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
This is an opportunity for both teachers and for local churches to engage with their local school and relate the initiative to the Bible.
