School Chaplaincy training – 10th June, Skene

Schools Ministry Roadshow, 10th June, 10am – 3.30pm

Trinity Church Hall, Skene, AB32 6FY

Do you go into schools as part of your paid or voluntary work with a church? Are you a youth worker who visits schools? Or someone who has a vision for partnering with your local school?

The Church of Scotland Education and Schools Group is hosting free Schools Ministry Roadshows, as an opportunity for you to meet others in your area involved in schools ministry, share ideas and encouragement. The roadshows are open to all denominations.

CVE Scotland’s School Chaplaincy project leader, Rev. Steve Younger, will be speaking at these training events.

“This series of regional Schools Ministry Roadshows are being run to explore how to strengthen the significant opportunity we have to serve our local schools and build supportive relationships with pupils and staff. These in-person events give an opportunity for those interested and involved in schools’ ministry to be encouraged and inspired and to meet others involved in similar ways. These are a great opportunity for members of Presbytery and local churches, Local Authority Reps, Ministers, School Chaplains, schools workers and others to meet together.”
