Christian Values in Education – Project Development Worker (20 hours / week)

Location: Glasgow

Salary range £11,187 – £12,235 (placing dependent on experience)

Christian Values in Education (CVE) aims to provide a rationale for the importance of continuing Christian involvement in Scottish schools and resources to equip Christian organisations and churches, youth workers and volunteers seeking to work with schools across Scotland to explore Christian values. This will include provision of a wide range of continuously updated online resources and advice as well as networking and training opportunities

We are searching for someone with experience in education who has a desire to serve Scottish schools and a vision to help the young people of Scotland explore Christian values. This vision will be expressed in a passion to equip others and to coordinate the provision of the resources and training that will enable them to be confident and effective.

For this post, it is important that you are committed to the ethos and vision of CVE and are able to demonstrate this through your commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act – part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.

The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
